How it all began ....

The story of ProLinx began much like many other startup ideas in this world … solving a personal issue. And after talking with many of my friends and colleagues, most, if not all, of them could relate to the issue. Quite simply … although I am working in the same company and building with someone, does not mean that I KNOW them. But why not?? Taking out sleep time and the weekends, I probably spend more time with colleagues than I do with my own family. I SHOULD KNOW them. 

True, there are certain people that are extroverted enough and will make an effort to get to know everyone. I would love to say I am one of those, but I am not. I sum it all up like this … There are 300 people in the company location. I probably know half of them by face, and I would give them a “hello” nod if I saw them outside of work. Of those 150, I probably know about 50 by name. And of those 50, I know maybe a dozen well enough to go to lunch or coffee with them. Twelve out of 300 … FOUR PERCENT!

And as such the idea of ProLinx was born, with the simple premise to allow colleagues to meet up physically or virtually for lunch or coffee during their breaks.



And after many months of testing and retesting our algorithm in real world scenarios, we are ready to bring this innovative solution to the market.
